Once signed, we will hand your project over to the site survey team for them to schedule a time to come verify your design on site.

3. Engineering and Permitting

After the site survey, the engineering and permitting team takes over. During this stage the engineers will work on structural and electrical plans for your project to be submitted to the AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) for review and approval. This process is subject to their review timelines, backlogs, etc. so it's not uncommon for it to take 1-3 months, depending on AHJ.

4. The fun part: Installation!

Once plans have been approved, now the real fun begins! We're getting close to glass on the roof! Our install team will schedule installation of your equipment which typically takes 1-5 days depending on the amount of panels, location of install, if battery is to be installed, etc.

5. Inspection and Permission to Operate

After install, the local inspector from the AHJ will come out to approve the installation making sure the team followed the approved plans. Once approved, the passed inspection report is submitted to the utility company for PTO - Permission to Operate, not paid time off unfortunately :( Once PTO is officially granted your project is 100% live and you are now energy independent!
